A very deep cherry-red colour. The nose reveals plenty of red berry and black fruit aromas with cherry, black plum, strawberry and dates coming to the fore. On the palate, red berry fruit and sweet black fruit come through well, together with dried figs and dates. The wine’s lively acidity brings magnificent balance.

A new addition the the highly popular Ananto range of organic wines from Valencia in eastern Spain. 100% Macabeo, one of Spains most popular white grape varieties. Fruit is grown in areas of extreme Mediterranean air currents. The location is surrounded by high mountain ranges with wide diurnal temperature variation, which create a special microclimate. 35yr old bush vines are grown in sandy limestone.

Pale yellow, clean with green tinges. Aromatic, well-balanced and fresh. This white wine offers pleasant acidity that complements perfectly the aromas of flowers, fruit and herbs that show through in the finish.

Familia Valdelana (Rioja) 2021 Crianza

Here at winesale we have been importing Bodegas Valdelana wines from Rioja for a number of years. We are ever impressed with the clean and modern style of wines from this classic region. Blown away with the ever astonishing prices.... Valdelana is located in the village of Elciego,  in the region known as Rioja Alavesa. A family owned and operated estate now in its fith generation. Riddled with history, the estate boasts spectacular underground cellars dating from the 15th century.

Deep cherry-red colour; clean and bright. Fruity on the nose, with some balsamic notes and some oak in the background. Blueberries and wild blackberries integrated with oaky notes vanilla or cinnamon. Fruit and oak perfectly blended on the palate; powerful and elegant wine. Long and intense aftertaste.

Vines of over 40 years grown in chalk, clay soils. Crianza wines are aged for 12 months, using French oak barrels (50%) and American oak barrels (50%)

Italia (Puglia Italy) 2021 IGT Primitivo

A warm, richly flavoured red with aromas of plums, dried fruits and brown spices. On the palate it's generous with good concentration of ripe plum and black cherry fruit and hints of dried figs, liquorice and dark chocolate. All balanced by fresh acidity.

Drink with grilled meats or pasta dishes with meat or spicy sauces.

Italia (Veneto Italy) 2023 DOC Pinot Grigio

A fresh, dry white with gentle floral and citrus aromas and hints of spice. Crisp and delicate on the palate with lightly honeyed fruit balanced by lemony acidity and a fresh, dry finish.

From the Veneto, northern Italy, this wine is a result of a selection of the best quality Pinot Grigio grapes from mature vineyards, which were hand harvested in late August / early September. The grapes were crushed and gently pressed and the juice allowed to settle and clarify before cool fermentation at 16 to 18C in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine was aged for a period of 3 to 6 months on fine lees in stainless steel tanks before bottling.

A versatile wine that's a good match for seafood, grilled fish, salads and white meat dishes.

Mouth-filling and savoury in character, yet with a minerality and complexity that compliment an elegant and long finish.

Le Petit Chat Malin (France) 2023 Rosé

A blend of traditional Rhône grape varieties such as old vine Cinsault, Grenache Noir and Syrah. Sourced from the Languedoc and Costières de Nîmes. The Cinsault grapes are from particularly old vines in the Languedoc. The Grenache Noir and Syrah grow in Costières de Nîmes. All the grapes were harvested from about 4am in the morning to make sure they arrived cool at the winery. Each grape variety was harvested and pressed separately and then vinified at low temperatures to maintain the bright fruit characteristics.

A very fruity and mouth-filling yet ultimately dry Rosé, packed with juicy red berry flavours, a luscious texture and savoury finish. The Languedoc Cinsualt brings a touch of spice.

​​​​​​​Perfect with fish and shellfish (of course) but also delicious with grilled chicken, salads or tomato based pasta.

Pretty, serious, vegan and organic. Mariluna is part of Winesales' new Spanish collection. The silky soft, Mariluna was a hit in the tasting room.

From within the Valencia growing region. A blend of 85% Tempranillo 15% Bobal. Age of the vines: 40 years. Grown in deep soils with high red clay content.

A medium-deep, bright, clean, rubi-red colour with purple hues. Nice ripe fruit on the nose with a a touch of cacao, toasty notes and sweet spices. It is fresh and elegant with good structure on the palate, pleasant and silky with well integrated acidity and a pleasant aftertaste.

Perfect for a late summer barbie.

A bright, clean, straw-yellow colour. Very aromatic in the nose, fresh and with notes of white flowers, citrus and apricot. In the mouth it is pleasant, with good acidity, complex and with a creamy touch. It is rich and with a long afertaste.

Perfect with appetisers, white fish, seafood, fresh cheeses and salads. Best served at a temperature of 8-10ºC. Organic and Vegan friendly.

This very beautiful light pink style rosé was carefully crafted and displays an abundance of succulent strawberry, luscious cherry and raspberry flavours with subtle rose petal undertones that forms a surprisingly delicious experience.

AMAZING VALUE 100% Organic wine from our friends at Sierra Norte 

Once the grapes have arrive at the cellars, they are cooled to delay the fermentation, while frequent pump-overs are carried out to achieve a better extraction of colour, aroma precursors and only the soft tannins. The alcoholic fermentation is then done at a controlled temperature of 22-24°C with gentle pumping over. The marc is pressed in a pneumatic press, and then the malolactic fermentation is done in stainless steel tanks.

A dark, cherry-red colour with purple glints. Intense and lingering fruit character showing strawberries and redcurrants. Fresh on the palate with lively tannins and a lingering sensation of spice.
