Kopu (Gisborne) 2022 Pinot Gris

Grapes for this wine were grown in the Ngatapa Valley region of  Gisborne district where dry-farming practices have been employed for over 75 years.

Post-harvest the grapes and juice were processed with care to maximise fruit flavour and intensity. The resulting wine has lovely floral aromatics on the nose, while the palate is showing peach, fresh pear, apple blossom and subtle spice.

Ideal food pairings include fresh salad and vegetable dishes, white meats and Asian cuisine.

Kōpū Hawke's Bay Syrah is a beautifully handcrafted wine with elegance, style and texture. Dark purple in colour, it shows sweet violet aromas on the nose and just a hint of spice. Dark fruit flavours are on display on the palate, with supple tannins and a savoury finish.
