Made in the Limoux region in France, THE top region for sparkling wine if you aren't in the market for Champagne! 

Long-lingering bubbles and a salmon pink hue. It offers up a complex blend of varietal aromas. Aromas of white-fleshed fruit (pears and peaches), along with nectarine. It then takes on roasted, toasted nutty and brioche-like notes. Pristine freshness. On the palate, subtle berry and stone fruit backed freshness and nutty character. The finish is long and refreshing.

A real stunner! Dry and elegant.

Cantina Albinea Canali, Estabished 1936, is an interpreter par excellence of Lambrusco. Harvesting grapes in a small area that offer only the highest quality, in terms of soils and climate of the whole of the Province of Reggio Emilia.

A classic Lambrusco deep red with purplish highlights. Fruity nose; with hints of wild berries. Palate; Rich dark berry flavours, full-mouthfeel, well-balanced, with good body and vinosity.

Champagne Alfred Gratien Brut is the house's signature product: A harmonious smooth and complex Champagne that is balanced enough to accompany nearly every course.

Initially complex on the nose. It combines the freshness of white fruit (pear), the maturity of spice (reserve wines, thyme, bay) and the signature maturation in cellars with yeasty aromas (bread, biscuit). The oak is subtle rather than obtrusive.

On the palate the wine has a beautiful base of acidity, and is wonderfully lively from the attack right through to the finish. This is coupled with the wine’s minerality (thanks to the quality of the original juice), revealed by the time spent in barrel. This is balanced by the elegant, fluid vinosity, as well as delicate viscosity. Silky sparkle.

The finish is very clean, lingering (8 to 9 seconds) and mineral (saline and chalky).

"Pale yellow colour. Constant and small bubble. Foam of great persistence. Very fruity aromas of white fruit (acid apple and pear) on shades of peel of citrics and white flowers. In the background, some spicy notes owed to ageing (cinnamon) and cookies. It is a well-structured "cava" in the mouth. Well picked up over its acidity that tenses it overall from beginning to end. The bubble lends a creamy feeling, and it gives volume and softness to the structure that returns acidity and widens the aromas of white fruits and spices that are repeated in the mouth. Yellow with golden highlights due to its ageing. Very fine bubbles with a slow, regular detachment. Maximum persistence of the crown due to long contact with fermentation yeasts.
Highly complex aromas, combining fresh fruit with jam and syrup. On the whole offering long development, always with freshness as the focus of perception and advancing to fine notes of toast, dried fruit and nuts, spices (anis) and a touch of minerals (graphite).
On the palate we note its powerful character softened by a subtle sweetness which, together with a good structure and fine bubble, forms an indestructible whole to accompany the aromas of ripe fruit with long persistence.
