Master distiller Arturo Fuentes and master blender Alejandro Garcia Páez create the Cenote Tequila range using blue agave which has matured for at least 6 years. Following distillation, the Reposado expression spends three months maturing in American oak casks, helping to develop a fruity, creamy sweetness to the distinctive spirit.

Released in 2004, this bottling was aged for around five years before being finished in a quarter cask for several months, the size of the cask is quite small, thus does not require such a long maturation. This remains a truly great achievement from Laphroaig

Santisima Trinidad 7-year-old Rum is bright amber in colour with slightly sweet aromas of raisins, dried grapes and oak. On the palate, there is slight but perceptible sweetness, combined with hints of vanilla and dried sweet almonds.

"We sourced freshly disgorged, peated whisky soaked barrels from Islay’s remote distilleries and began to experiment. Some of the barrels used date as far back as 1968, but once we brought them over to Australia, they were given a whole new lease of life. For the first time, whisky drinkers will taste coastal peat and smoky flavours in Starward’s signature fruit-forward and juicy whisky. On the tongue, subtle sweet peat melds with red wine barrels, red berries, sticky golden peaches and cocoa nibs. There is distinct peat in the aroma and a smoldering oak dry finish”.

In each sip of Unexpeated, ripe red berries meet a coastal peat smoke. Sweet peat lingers in the aroma and lengthy finish.
