The southern Rhône has always been a source of inspiration for Boutinot. Belles Lettres is a category of writing in French, originally meaning beautiful or fine writing. Winemaker Eric Monnin likens it to the way he makes his wines; crafting something of pure beauty. A writer of Belles Lettres is a 'belletrist’.

80% Granache and 20% Syrah. Soft, smooth and appealingly fruity; good Côtes du Rhône should be a crowd-pleaser. This is full-flavoured and rich with a hint of savoury spice on the finish, typical of well-sunned Grenache which dominates the blend.

Really easy drinking, this wine can be enjoyed on its own. It's a great accompaniment to a summer BBQ: sausages, grilled halloumi, and burgers.
