"Patricia Shiraz never stands still. In '19, we see a return to elegance and fineness with a steely backbone – very impressive. Deep purple hues. Hedonistic in scents of dark berries, ripe plums, aniseed, chocolate, high spice and violet. Skips across the palate, clean, fine-tannined and with poise and solid line and length. Has a gracious quality I associate with its namesake." Jeni Port

"At first glance, I instantly think of a bonfire, roasted chestnuts, a steak on the grill, and a cosy wool blanket. If a wine makes you think of an ideal scenery, you’d better have it by then. It’s the scent of something familiar, yet intriguingly complex and warm: the sweet tang of candied raspberries, the rich depth of red cherries, the burst of freshness from pomegranate, the unique sweetness of boysenberries, the comforting aroma of vanilla pods, and the indulgent hint of milk chocolate. There are flashes of spices, rosemary, and thyme on the palate. The tannins are soft and hug the palate, and the acidity is like your mum’s fingers passing through your hair. You can rest peacefully with this one while it is dark and cold outside." Lisa Cardelli

Made using premium parcels of Shiraz fruit sourced from three distinct Victorian vineyards, the 2019 vintage yields an aromatic masterpiece: generous notes of berry perfume blended with white pepper and spice. A beautiful complex palate with a long, lingering finish.

This wine would make an ideal partner to crispy skinned duck breast served with kipfler potatoes, broccolini and a black pepper red wine jus. Or why not try it with a spicy Mongolian beef. The Patricia Shiraz is also fantastic with wash rind cheeses.
