"Beautifully composed and complex, the wine shows nectarine, nougat, cedar and popcorn characters with a hint of flinty overtone. It’s wonderfully ripe and concentrated on
the palate offering gorgeously layered mouthfeel backed by bright acidity, finishing superbly long and delectable."

Established in 2003, Elephant Hill is located within a stone’s throw of the Pacific Ocean on the idyllic Te Awanga coast of Hawke’s Bay on New Zealand’s North Island. The winemaking at Elephant Hill is driven by tradition while not losing sight of what innovation can bring to the blend. "Our aim is to make wines that are balanced, elegant and a true expression of the vineyards they come from."

Handpicked Chardonnay from a single coastal vineyard, naturally fermented with wild yeasts. Matured on fine lees for 14 months with regular stirring to add texture and complexity
to the wine. 20% new oak and remainder with older seasoned oak and tank.
