This label is produced  by a highly awarded and family owned winery, with over 150 years legacy based in the Barossa. This South Australia label is popular in the US and the UK.

Named after the original pickup truck, that used to come to deliver wine to the locals. A deliciously smooth Shiraz filled with generous fruit flavors, dark chocolate, cherry, and red raspberry tones. Blueberry aromatics are complemented by a hint of white pepper spiciness and floral tones of violets.

Crimson red in colour with purple hues. Concentrated plum and spice aromas are supported with subtle vanillan oak. A medium bodied wine with flavours of juicy ripe cherries, red currants and hints of spicy oak combine together with soft tannins to give a lingering succulent finish to the palate.

Late Winter and Spring rains in 2020 allowed the canopies to flourish and the vines yielded good crop loads and quality. The Summer was mild, without extreme temperature variations, and the cool nights allowed the development of great aromatics and flavours. The red wines produced from the 2021 vintage are deeply coloured with classic varietal characteristics.

Fermentation was carried out under warm temperature conditions for a period of 6 days. This creates a good balance between extracting the appropriate tannin for wine structure and retaining fruit drive and aromatics.
