Cancelled Export Order!

Delicious Marlborough Chardonnay - produced by Newco wines in Marlborough -  was destined for overseas markets but a late order cancelation means we have been asked to move this wine.

Made by one of New Zealand's most respected winemakers Alan McCorkendale. Oak aging and malolactic fermentation gives the wine buttery notes but not at the expense of the expressive fruit flavours. Overall this is a beautiful balanced wine and a top quality example of Marlborough Chardonnay.

Notes of ripe apple, peach, and pear on the nose with a touch of lemon peel that adds freshness. Lovely vanilla and brioche in the background.

Good weight and texture with an ample finish thanks to the lingering acidity. The oak is well-integrated creating a delicious and balanced wine.

Match with roast chicken, ham, cheese or drink by itself.
