Sweet, spicy and incredibly smooth, there is a reason our unashamedly unpeated blend has been a favourite since Hankey Bannister started producing whisky.

The nose is quite light, yet rather punchy. There are notes of winter spice and black pepper with a touch of caramel. The palate is quite fresh and crisp with medium-body. There are notes of buttery biscuit and toffee fudge with cereal sweetness and a creamy mouthfeel. The finish is of good length with a fudge sweetness.

Similar to Champagne, all Cognacs are made in the region of the same name. Found in France’s south-west. VS stands for ‘very special’ The blend must be of cognacs at least 2 years old.

The palate is warm and filled with grape, citrus, and apple notes, along with a considerable amount of wood, which is not overpowering but eminently pleasing. The medium-length finish is marked with a spice that has a slight heat and leads into a lingering melt of wood and almonds.
