The grapes for this wine were sourced Peter Briant’s vineyard in the Patutahi region just across the river from Matawhero.

Pale straw with golden highlights. Aroma is citrus blossom, floral and orange zest notes. Lime, stonefruit and honeysuckle flavours with nice acidity cover the palate. Enjoy with seafood and poultry. Vegan Friendly.

Grapes for this wine were sourced from the Tietjens vineyard in the Hexton Hills or Golden Slope region in Gisborne. This vineyard was selected for a rich history in producing premium Chardonnay.

Aromas of ripe melon and peach abound with butterscotch and fig notes. The palate is rich, with ripe fruits, showcasing peach flavours and an inherent creaminess, and a lingering bright finish. A Gisborne favourite!

"Roaring Meg Chardonnay 2019 supple with flavours of nectarine and citrus introducing the wine. A textured soft mid-palate draws you into the wine. White fleshed peach drives the finish alongside a hint of phenolic interest. Generous and giving."

Fruit was hand-picked at peak ripeness on the 3rd, 4th, 8th, 11th and 12th of April, from Bannockburn, Pisa and Bendigo. The fruit was handled in an oxidative fashion, destemmed and pressed to concrete egg. We fermented 70% of the juice in egg, with the balance in old barriques, all with full solids using indigenous yeasts. Whilst maturing no lees stirring was utilised. The wine went through a full malolactic fermentation in spring, after which the barriques were stirred for a period. The wine was racked and filtered before being bottled, unfined, in March.

Mt Difficulty (Otago) 2023 Roaring Meg Rosé

This Pinot Noir Rosé exhibits a gorgeous watermelon complexion. Savoury raspberry competes with rhubarb compote and hints of rose petal. Bright raspberry notes introduce the wine, these then flow into a linear mid palate and a clean mineral finish.

Mud House (Marlborough) 2023 Chardonnay

Citrus and stonefruit aromas are complemented by a hint of toasty oak in this Marlborough Chardonnay. The palate is elegant and generously weighted with a soft texture. Ripe stonefruit and citrus flavours provide juicy acidity, complemented by a hint of flinty minerality and subtle oak spice.

Mud House (South Island) 2023 Pinot Gris

A juicy and lively Pinot Gris, with hints of red apple, pear and ginger spice. Pale straw  with aromas of spicy red apple, ripe pear and a hint of ginger. A lively palate with juicy fruit flavours, and warming ginger spice. The vibrant acidity lingers, drawing out to a refreshing finish.

Created in the 1990’s as part of the evolving Penfolds white wine development program, Bin 51 captures many attributes of the Eden Valley locale. The region’s high altitude and cool-climate induces riesling with great finesse and elegance with a capacity for long-term cellaring. In their youth, the wines possess scented floral and citrus aromas, with a mineral edge and marked natural acidity, contributing significantly to the palate texture and flavour.

Rockburn Chardonnay leans towards the crisper and lighter end of the spectrum, demanding minimal use of oak.The nose is pure and subtle with elements of wet stone, lemon zest and ripe peach.  The palate is full, textural with fine tension, showing lemon meringue, butterscotch and delicate minerality and a zesty finish.

A perfect complement to roast chicken, risotto, and seafood.

This aromatic Pinot Gris offers aromas of Nashi pear, white peach, sweet white flowers and vanilla pod. The succulent palate is beautifully balanced with sustained flavours of Nashi pear finishing with a light acidity.
