"Bright, even, pale yellow with a slight green hue. The nose is softly full, with moderately deep aromas of stonefruit, quince, pastry and a suggestion of cashew. Medium-bodied, dried to taste, aromas of quince melded with nectarine, cashew paste and sourdough crust. The flavours are softly mouth-filling and underlined by a light powdery grip. Fresh acidity enlivens the mouthfeel and flows with good energy to a lingering finish. This is a soft and elegant Chardonnay with a smooth flow and freshness. The Chardonnay is classic Gisborne, but with an extra layer of complexity, smoky, flinty, ripe and rich. Packed with peach, caramelised, toasty characters, butterscotch and nutty notes on the finish. Textural mouthfeel and good to the environment! This wine is low allergen, low sulphur, minimal additives and produced without any animal by products.

This wine has been made utilising the traditional techniques which have made the Chardonnay of the Burgundy region in France so famous. Pegasus Bay thus adopt a hands-off approach so that until the last, or blending, stage, the wine has largely made itself.

Beautifully rich, untuous, bright and zesty...........a stunning late harvest style of riesling

Upon release the colour is bright lemon. The bouquet is a tantalising patchwork of apricot, marmalade, honey and orange zest, interwoven with fl oral notes and a lick of ginger. The botrytis has added concentration and richness, yet there is a refreshing zestiness backed with bright acidity that teases the palate, ensuring the wine remains lively and well balanced, with a prolonged finish.

It has a pale lemon sheen, with profound citrus, floral and tropical notes. The palate is vibrant and energised, with layered citrus, racy acidity, and a hint of spritzig giving a zesty, lemon sherbet mouthfeel. Created in the 1990’s as part of the evolving Penfolds white wine development program, Bin 51 captures many attributes of the Eden Valley locale. The region’s high altitude and cool-climate induces riesling with great finesse and elegance with a capacity for long-term cellaring. Te Kairanga TK (Martinborough) 2023 Estate Pinot Gris

This Pinot Gris is made from individual vineyard parcels, gently pressed on arrival and cool fermented in stainless steel to maintain its clean, fresh flavour. A small portion of the fruit was fermented in old French oak puncheons to add extra texture and complexity to the wine. The wine was then aged on light lees before being blended and bottled. Balanced oak treatment and minimal fining and filtration help preserve both varietal character and the inimitable personality of the terroir.

Fragrant exotic fruits and spice are front and centre in this Pinot Gris. The palate shows a refined texture and deep concentration of flavour with a long dry finish. Incredibly mouth-filling with notes of nashi pear, peach and nuts, it is an ideal match for a Japanese feast of grilled chicken and zucchini yakatori.

Warm subtle stonefruit flavours with hints of citrus help keep this Pinot Gris soft textured with mouth-watering complexity, without being sweet and too overpowered by light honey notes.

Weave (Sth Australia) 2022 Chardonnay

Pale straw yellow in colour. Ripe nectarine, fig and nougat with accents of wild honey. These are supported by freshly cut hay and cinnamon spice. Layers of flavour build across the palate reflecting the fruit, natural fermentation and ageing on yast lees. The slightest hint of oak comes through as a hint of cinnamon and spice. Balanced acidity gives the wine thrust through to the refreshing finish.

Growing conditions for vintage 2022 began with a mild Spring & flowering period which helped produce an even set in our Chardonnay vines. A mild but dry harvest period with cool nights meant that our Chardonnay vines produced wines with excellent flavour, depth and freshness.
